It's not only high rollers and big gamblers that have access to complimentary vacation perks in Las Vegas. With I.D. and patience anyone can get a free room in Nevada.

Each casino and hotel group in Las Vegas has its own Players Club. The desk is usually located on the casino floor, often in close proximity to the money cages.

By taking the time to share some personal information, the hotel will continually send incentives and coupons to entice a trip to Vegas to every Players Club member. Even to the most frugal of gamblers.

Cheaper hotels tend to offer free rooms, while the more expensive resorts will send highly discounted rates. The key is to call the hotel as soon as the card or email arrives. There will be a limited number of rooms available at the discounted rate so act fast.

Don’t forget to use the card:

  • At every slot machine and card table
  • In the gift shops
  • Dining in the hotel restaurants
  • When purchasing show tickets

Great Deals for Downtown and Fremont Street

Main Street Station sends the best deals the most frequently. The free “three night stay” offer always comes with a $30.00 food voucher and considering the low prices here that coupon will go a long way. The B Connected card is also valid at California and Fremont Hotel and Casino.

Staying on the Strip for Less

The Total Rewards Program for Harrah’s Entertainment Group is integral for getting a good (or free) rate on the strip. The card can be used at Bally’s, Paris, Flamingo, Caesars Palace and of course at Harrah's. There is no trouble getting cheap rooms at Flamingo or Harrah’s and the other three usually have some pretty good deals, especially mid-week. There will also be discounted show tickets at Rio and buffet coupons for Harrah’s as well.

Exclusive Resorts for Bargain Prices

The Venetian and the new Palazzo generally cost hundreds of dollars to stay in but as a member of Club Grazie the hotel rates are often $29.99 a night. Of course this price is for Sunday through Thursday only, but it does come with an extra $25.00 of slot credit added to the card upon check in.

Other Cheap Travel Ideas for SinCity

There are many affordable things to do in Vegas. Support the Neon Museum and tour the Boneyard ($15.00 per person) or indulge in several shrimp cocktails at Golden Gate downtown. Each one is only $1.99 in the Shrimp Bar and Deli.

Or check out one of the huge spectacles in town. The Bellagio fountains, the volcano at Mirage and the Fremont Street Experience are a blast. They run all year, plus they are free.

Repeat customers are what Las Vegas wants. Signing up for a Players Club card in any casino is an easy way to get discounted room rates, free comps and food coupons.

Besides, as one seasoned gambler pointed out from her Blazing 7’s slot machine, “Ya gotta get a card. How ya gonna eat if ya don’t get a CARD?”
