A Great Deluxe Hotel on the Famous Vegas Strip

If you're heading to Vegas consider a stay at the Paris hotel, just don't mistake it for the real thing.

Las Vegas isn’t exactly known for its minimalism, and when visitors first enter the Paris hotel they’ll see why.

Atmosphere at the Paris Hotel

The Paris hotel is a bastardized version of one of the world’s great cities – and what fun it is! Faux cobblestone streets, wrought iron street lamps, and European-style building facades are just a few of the Parisian-inspired details that make this hotel such fun. The extravagant lobby, lit up by massive sparkling chandeliers, is so over the top that it’s borderline offensive. And the garden inspired bathrooms actually draw crowds.

Best Location on the Las Vegas Strip

Right on the famous Las Vegas strip, the Paris hotel has one of the best locations in town. Directly across the street from the famous Bellagio fountains, guests enjoy the convenience of having some of Las Vegas’ best attractions right at their doorstep.

Rooms at The Paris Hotel

An average room at the Paris is both clean and spacious. Bathrooms are large and luxurious. The view on one side of the building leaves a little to be desired, but the other side offers guests the best view in Las Vegas. The Bellagio fountains seem to hold some sort of mystic power over people, and the ability to see them from one’s hotel room is worth the added price.

Parisian Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is large with plenty of lounge chairs surrounding it, but be sure to visit earlier in the day rather than later. In the morning the pool sparkles under the hot desert sun, but as the afternoon progresses, cigarette butts and empty cups seem to find their way in, making it a little less refreshing for people wanting to cool off.

The Paris Hotel's Food and Cuisine

There are plenty of food options at the Paris hotel, from Parisian-inspired sidewalk cafes, to sit-down restaurants. Prices are fairly high though, as they are all over Vegas. The days of the $0.99 shrimp cocktail seem to be over. Guests looking for a finer dining experience should visit the restaurant at the top of the Eiffel Tower. The food is excellent and the view is one of the best in Las Vegas.

Paris Hotel Service

The service at the Paris hotel is quite good. The concierge is available to answer questions and book tours, the front desk is quick and professional, and the cleaning staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside is the front door staff. They have been known to make rude comments if they don’t deem tips to be high enough (whether the service was good or not). Having said that, the majority of staff rely on tips as part of their income, so perhaps it’s understandable? Perhaps not.

The Paris hotel is one of Las Vegas’ great deluxe hotels, full of attractions and amenities (see vegas.com for details). Just don’t think that it’s a realistic interpretation of the actual French city. While the Parisian inspired décor and ambiance is great fun, try to make room in your life to visit the original Paris as well!
