Enjoy a Home Game in the New Aces Ballpark in Downtown Reno.

Before or after the Aces game, check out some local game day specials in some of downtown's most popular watering holes and restaurants.

It's an exciting time if you're a baseball fan in Reno. The new Aces Ballpark is open and the team is playing over 60 home games. Many downtown bars and restaurants are offering special game day deals, so come out a little early, stay a little late, and enjoy a drink or a nibble on Reno Aces game days.

Amendment 21 presents the A21 Bud Light Bullpen at Second and Lake Streets, a block from Aces Ballpark and the Bullpen will be open through the season. There is a fee for parking, but they also offer a 100-foot bike rack, along with drinks, entertainment, and food from Men Wielding Fire. The sports bar also offers free park-and-ride at their main location on Virginia Street, with shuttles running to the Bullpen beginning two hours before each game. Fans can bring in an Aces ticket and their kids will get a free corndog and adults can choose from a free draft of Bud Light or Michelob Ultra or a soda. Bully's is located at 300 North Center Street inside the National Bowling Stadium.

The Club Cal Neva also charges $10 for parking on game days, but you get $10 in free slot play with your Aces ticket. On home game days, bars around the casino serve $2 drafts from 9 to 11pm. The Club Cal Neva is located at 1 East First Street. Call 775-323-1046 for more information.

Doc Hollidays Bar serves $2 pints sometime "around game time," so it's probably a couple of hours before each game to an hour or so after each home game. The bar is 24 hours a day and is located at 120 East Second Street, right near the Ballpark. Call 775-348-8460 for more information

Baseball fans can bring their Reno Aces tickets to the Eldorado Hotel Casino for food and drink specials. There are Eldorado coupons on the back of Aces tickets that are good for two-for-one pizza at The Brew Brothers and $2 off dinner at The Buffet. Game day fans can also park at the Eldorado Hotel Casino for easy access to the baseball park. Fans can enjoy a game day drink special at all casino floor bars. Harrah's charges $10 for game day parking, because their garage is closest to the Aces Ballpark. However, two hours before and two hours after all home games Harrah's is offering $2 Coors drafts at Zone 21, $4.95 nachos at the Bullpen bar, $6.95 appetizers at Andreotti Café, and appetizers at Café Napa are two for $5.95. Bring Reno Aces tickets to the Silver Legacy for food and drink specials after the game, and fans can also park free in the Silver Legacy parking garage for easy access to the baseball park.

The Silver Legacy is printing coupons on the back of Reno Aces tickets that are good for a free dessert with the purchase of an entree at Silver Legacy's Cafe Sedona and $2 off any meal at Flavors! the Buffet. For game day drink specials, fans can bring their tickets to Aura Ultra Lounge and DRINX where ladies drink free from 4-7pm and guys get $1.00 off drinks on game days.

The Silver Legacy is also offering special Baseball Packages, available now though September 19, 2009 with rooms available from just $49.99 midweek and $89.99 on weekends. The packages come with discount coupons including $5 off Flavors! the Buffet dinner or any entrée at Café Sedona, $4 off a ticket to Catch a Rising Star Comedy Club, free Ace in the hole, 10% off retail shops, 2-for-1 cocktails in any casino bar and $1 off a $3 keno ticket.
