Traditionally, Mother's Day is the day the family honors mom for all the hard work she does all year. There are plenty of special dining options available all around Reno, Sparks, and Lake Tahoe that offer mom some of her favorite Mother's Day menus. Take time to relax with the family and treat mom to a special meal at a great Northern Nevada restaurant for this family holiday.

Reno Mother's Day Specials

Café Musée, in the Nevada Museum of Art

For a very special day, take mom to the Nevada Museum of Art and celebrate with brunch at the charming café inside the museum. The brunch is from 10am to 2:30pm and features live music and a mimosa for each mom. Brunch is $42.50 for adults, $20.00 for children under 10 and free for children under three. Bonanza Casino – Cactus Creek

Cactus Creek in the Bonanza Casino is one of those tucked-away secrets that locals love. They're serving up a gourmet Mother's Day brunch with special entrees, desserts, and starters at menu prices. Reservations are recommended, call 323-2724 ex. 118. The restaurant is open from 10:30am to 2:30pm for brunch. The Bonanza is located at 4720 North Virginia Street.

The Eldorado

Mother's Day Champagne Brunch will be served from 8am to 3pm in the Buffet. Buffet prices are $20.99 for adults, $9.99 for children under 10 and $17.99 for Gold Card members and above. Enjoy classic Eldorado pastas along with seafood, New York steak, lamb, and much more. All the Eldorado restaurants are offering special menus for mom, as well. The Eldorado is also offering a special Sunday matinee of "Menopause the Musical," to make mom's day complete. The matinee is at 3 p.m. in the Eldorado Showroom. The Grand Sierra

The Café Sierra is offering a Mother's Day meal with filet mignon and lobster tail served with oven-roasted red bliss potatoes and vegetable du jour for $19.95, along with a glass of house red, white or sparkling wine. Harrah's

Most all the restaurants in Harrah's are offering Mother's Day specials, including Andreotti, Cafe Napa, Carvings Buffet, and Harrah's Steak House. Harrah's is at 219 North Center Street. Call 775-786-3232 for more information.

The Peppermill

The Silver Legacy

The Silver Legacy offers Mother's Day special menus at all its restaurants. Sterling's will serve traditional breakfast items include waffles served with fresh strawberries and cream, eggs Benedict, cheese blitzes and breakfast potatoes. Sterling's brunch is served from 8am to 3pm. Prices are $35 for adults and $17.50 for children ages 6-12. The Silver Legacy is located at 407 North Virginia Street. John Ascuaga's Nugget

Lake Tahoe Restaurants

The Chateau in Incline Village

M.S. Dixie II and the Tahoe Queen

Mom can enjoy a beautiful morning cruise to Emerald Bay and a buffet brunch aboard either of these paddlewheelers The M.S. Dixie II brunch leaves at 10am from Zephyr Cove Resort in Zephyr Cove.
