Reno New Year's Eve Celebrations
The Eldorado Hotel Casino
Celebrate "Nine 0 Nine" in the Eldorado's BuBinga Lounge, also celebrating their 9th Anniversary. They'll offer a free champagne toast and party favors at midnight and tunes by DJ David Aaron. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door; doors open at 9 p.m. Call 775-786-5700 for tickets and to reserve a VIP table call 775-954-4036.
The Brew Brothers is offering up local favorite Steel Breeze at 10 p.m. for $20. and they'll be free entertainment and party favors throughout the casino. It's best to make reservations for the casino's restaurants, who'll all be serving special menus; call 800-648-5966 or 775-786-5700. The Eldorado is located at 345 North Virginia Street.
Grand Sierra Resort
The Grand Sierra Resort presents Candlebox with special guest Royal Bliss from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31 in the Grand Theatre. Tickets are $33, or reserve a table for four for $195. Participants must be 18 years old to attend the event. They are also hosting a casino floor party with champagne, party favors, and plenty of free giveaways. The Peppermill
All the Peppermill restaurants are offering special dinner menus for New Year's Eve, including the Peppermill Island Buffet, Adults are $26.99 for dinner, and children from 4 through 11 are $11.99 for dinner. They also offer in-room dining for a more intimate celebration, and there will be a champagne toast at midnight throughout the casino. For more information and reservations, call 800-648-6992. Sparks New Year's Celebrations
John Ascuaga's Nugget
The Nugget serves a free champagne toast at the Casino Cabaret beginning at 11:45 p.m., including party favors throughout the casino. In addition, there will be a New Year's Funky Disco Party in the Celebrity Showroom featuring Bootiequake from 9:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Free entertainment is also going on in the Casino Cabaret, Orozko Lounge, and Trader Dick's. For information, call 800-648-1177. John Ascuaga's Nugget is located at 1100 Nugget Avenue in Sparks. The Nugget is offering special room packages for New Year's, too.
David's Grill
David's Grill at the Resort at Red Hawk in Sparks is offering a gourmet buffet for New Year's Eve. Choose a seating at 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and the dinner includes live entertainment and dancing to the tunes of Night Flight from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. They'll hand out party favors, too. Adults are $49.95 and there's a children's menu available for $9.95. David's is also offering their special prime rib for pick-up on New Year's Eve. It comes with horseradish au jus, a roasting pan, and everything you need to cook it up fresh for your holiday dinner. Lake Tahoe Celebrations
MontBleu Resort
Check out the Midnight Blu New Year's Eve Celebration at the MontBleu Resort. Celbrations take place in the Blu Nightclub, Opal Ultra Lounge and the Convention Center. Opal and Blu doors open at 8 p.m., and 10 p.m. for the Convention Center. Tickets are $50 in advance and $75 the day of the event, for General Admission.
